SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

E-planet uses the latest security measures to safeguard your personal information. All personal information is stored in a secure computing environment protected by secure firewalls to prevent unauthorised access.

When you enter the secure areas of the site, all the information sent between your computer and our secure computer environment is encrypted or scrambled so that no one can read it in transit. The details can be read by you and us, but not by anyone else.

The secure areas of the site have a time-out feature. If you leave your secure session inactive for an extended period of time, it times out to prevent unauthorised access.

 

MEMBER ACCOUNTS, PASSWORDS, PAYMENTS AND SECURITY

If E-planet requires you to open an account, you must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. You also will choose a password and a username. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify the E-planet support team immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security. E-planet will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge. However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by E-planet due to someone else using your account or password. You may not use anyone else's account at any time, without the permission of the account holder.

Is e-planet really free?

Yes, e-planet is completely free. You can post as many jobs as you want and search for candidates-all for free. There is no expiration date and you will not be asked to enter payment information to continue with the service.

 

Why is my job in pending and how long will it take to get approved?

To ensure only valid recruiters and jobseekers access the site, every profile is reviewed by our team. Once your information is approved, you will have full access to use our site. This normally takes no longer than 48 Hrs, but if you would like it expedited, please feel free to reach out and we will be happy to help in speeding up the process.

 

Why was my profile rejected?

How will I receive my account approval?

You will receive an e-mail once you sign up for an account. If you do not receive this e-mail, you can request a resend of it or you can reach out to us and we will be happy to verify your account for you.

 

Can I have multiple email addresses on one account?

You can only have one e-mail address associated with each account. However, you have the ability to create as many accounts per company as you'd like, allowing you to use different e-mails for each.

 

How many jobs can I post?

You can post as many jobs as you'd like to your eplanet account.

 

Are there any types of roles I cannot post?

You’re welcomed to post any role you want.

 

My company name and e-mail address have changed. I need to edit this information, but the website will not let me do this. What can I do?

These are fields that we can currently adjust only from the backend of our site. Please feel free to reach out to us, and we'll make all necessary changes for you.

No problem! If you've forgotten your password, please click on "I forgot my password" and we'll send you a link to reset it. You can also reach out to us and we'll send you a link to your email.

 

Where can I view my applicants?

 

In order to view resumes you will need to be logged into your account. After logging in, you can access all candidates by going directly to 'My Jobs' and clicking on the number of 'Applies' to be directed to all applicants for your position.

Hiring a new employee is an important decision for your business. E-planet can guide you to find the right employee for your workplace and get them started on the right track.

You can also access our Hiring area online and access an unlimited number of potential applicants for your company.

The hiring process starts with assessing your business’ current and future needs and defining the role you want to fill. Decide whether hiring is the best option or whether you could consider alternatives, like training existing staff.

If you decide that you do need to hire, think about what you need from the person and develop a job description to match. Consider the tasks you need the person to do and the skills/qualifications they will need to do this work.

 

When defining the role, think about the type of employee you need:

  • Full-time employees that have a regular pattern of hours and can be asked to work additional hours if the hours are reasonable.
  • Part-time employees that work less than 38 hours per week and have ongoing employment.
  • Casual employees aren’t guaranteed a certain amount of hours of work a week. They are usually paid an additional amount.
  • Fixed-term employees are engaged for a specified period of time, task or season.

 

Once you have a clear idea of the role you want to fill, you can start looking for suitable candidates. This means making sure that suitable applicants hear about the opportunity, find the job appealing and match it with their expectations, skills and experience.

When preparing your job ad, list the skills and experience you are looking for. Remember to let applicants know what’s in it for them by including information about the location, salary and benefits of the job.

After completing the Registration process, you will be able to access a huge number of applicants’ CVs depending on the criteria and the search filters that you stated in your job post.

Depending on the number of CVs you get, it might help to create a shortlist of people to interview. The shortlisting process can help you identify the applicants whose skills and experience best match the role. Once you have your shortlist, you can then prepare for your interviews. The interview process can be as formal or informal as you like. Ensure that you ask questions which focus on the skills and abilities which are relevant to the position. Avoid asking questions that are personal, intrusive or irrelevant to the role as they may be seen as inappropriate or discriminatory.
